Hane Press is a small, family-run print studio operated by David & Mette in Haslev near Copenhagen, Denmark. We set up shop in the grand year of 2026. Most of what we've done so far is the result of our experimentation with serigraphy, and we'll continue exploring and creating every day. Every print is pulled by hand, layer by layer, in limited batches. Because of the nature of silkscreen printmaking, no two prints are identical—giving you a unique piece of graphic art for your space. 

Hane Press is our remedy to digital over-consumption, where a lot of our interest and leisure has been taken over by gazing into our tiny screens. Our intention with Hane Press is to put down our devices and continue to sustain and explore the traditional practice of serigraphy while producing unique, contemporary works of visual art and design.   

We believe there's a shift taking place; a shift back to the appreciation of the physical aesthetic, where people value the creativity, hard-work, technique, and craftsmanship involved in producing hand-pulled prints. In the current world where everything's expected to be perfect, we embrace the small imperfections of serigraphy that bring character and life into the final prints. 

Hane Press doesn't deliver high-volume printed materials for the mass market, nor do we wish to.  We're focused on unique, small-batch print runs that we hope carry an artistic meaning and resonate with people who appreciate the effort and creativity that goes into what we do.
